Yeh Woh Turbat Hay Ji Ko `Arsh e A`zam Pur Fazeelat Hay!
The destination of the angels is the shrine in Medina,
Ranking higher than the Great Throne, is this shrine in Medina!
Bhala dasht e Madinah say chaman ko koi nisbat hai;
Madinay ki fazaa rashk e bahaar e baagh e jannat hai.
Can the gardens even compare with the plains of Medina?
The bloom of Paradise envies the air of Medina!
Madinah gar salamat hay to phir sab kuch salamat hai;
Khuda rakhay Madinay ko, issi ka damm ghaneemat hai..
Guaranteed is the safety of all, upon the safety of Medina,
May Allah preserve the city, sufficient for us is Medina!
Madinah aisa gulshan hai jo har gulshan ki zeenat hai;
bahaar e baagh e jannat bhi Madinay ki ba-dawlat hai..
The beauty of every garden is the garden of Medina,
The blossoms of Paradise too, are due to Medina!
Madinah chor kar sayr e jinaa(n) ki kya zaroorat hai;
yeh jannat say bhi behter hai yeh jeete jee ki jannat hai.
What is the need to roam in Paradise, leaving Medina?
A living Paradise, nay better than Paradise is Medina!
Humee(n) kya Haqq ta’aala ko Madinay say muhabbat hai;
Madinay say muhabbat un say ulfat ki `alaamat hai!
Not just we, even the truthful Lord loves Medina,
A sign of love for the beloved, is the love of Medina!
Ilahi!! Woh Madinay Kaisi Basti Hay Dikhaa-Dayna;
Jahaa(n) Rahmat Barasti Hay Jahaa(n) Rahmat Hi Rahmat Hay..
What does the city look like? O Lord, show us Medina!
Where it rains mercy upon mercy, the city of mercy Medina!
Madinah Chor Kar Jannat Ki Khushboo Mil Nahi(n) Sakti;
Madinay Say Mahabbat Hay To Jannat Ki Zamanat Hay.
Lost is the aroma of Paradise, if you abandon Medina,
Gained is Paradise itself, if you have love for Medina!
Zamee(n) Pur Woh Muhammad Hain, Woh Ahmad Asmaano(n) Main;
Yahaa(n) Bhi Un Ka Charcha Hay – Wahaa(n) Bhi Un Ki MidHat Hay..
He is Mohammad on earth, and Ahmed in the skies,
Praised in both the worlds, is the master of Medina!
Yahaa(n) Bhi Un Ki Chalti Hay, Wahan Bhi Un Ki Chalti Hay;
Madinah Raajdhaani Hay Do `Aaalam Pur Hukoomat Hay!
He reigns in this world, and is obeyed even in the heavens,
He governs both the worlds, the capital is Medina!
Ghazab Hi Kardiya AKHTAR, Madinay Say Chalay Aa’aey;
Yeh Woh Jannat Hay Jis Ki `Arsh Waalo(n) Ko Bhi Hasrat Hay.
You wronged yourself, O Akhtar, why did you leave Medina?
Even the angels long for it- such is the Paradise called Medina!
Madinah Chor Kar Akhtar Bhala Kyu(n) Jaa’ayn Jannat Ko?
Yeh Jannat Kya Har Ik Ni`mat Madinay Ki Ba-Dawlat Hay.
So why should you, O Akhtar, go to Paradise leaving Medina?
For all the bestowals, not just Paradise, are due to Medina!
